The regional museum on the ground floor of the zruč chateau presents the local tradition of shoemaking. There are sewing machines, tools used for shoe production, shoe samples and historical photographs.
The Regional Museum, which is located in the attic of the castle, collects historical materials from Zruč, especially specialising in the shoemaking industry in Zruč and the shoemaking clan of the Adrián family. It introduces the visitor to the names of various tools needed to repair shoes, which have long since disappeared. It also deals with the building of the new Bata factory in the 1940s and the creation of a completely new part of the town. It traces the zruč shoe factory until its demise in the 1990s.
